Two regions in North Kildare will face a water outage until around 6pm today.
Kildare County Council (KCC) has said that private contractors have hit a water main on the Straffan Road, Maynooth.
As a result, water supply to the following areas will be without a water supply until all repairs are complete: Straffan Road, Maynooth, T.L.C Nursing home, Barberstown, Richardstown, Smithstown, Clonagh, Straffan Road, Clane and surrounding rural areas.
"Please note it may take a few hours following the works for the water supply to return to normal levels," KCC added.
