Mary Connolly (née McDonagh), Rail Park, Maynooth, Kildare / Swinford, Mayo / Kinvara, Galway

The death has occurred of Mary Connolly (née McDonagh), Rail Park, Maynooth, Kildare / Swinford, Mayo / Kinvara, Galway. She passed away on December 7, peacefully, at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Beloved wife of the late John, sister of James, Martin, Margaret and the late Lena. Much loved aunt of Sean, Helen and Niall, grandnephew Richard and grand nieces Laura and Freya.

She will be sadly missed by her family, her nieces in law, nephews in law, Ann Connolly wife of John’s late brother Mattie, relatives, and her dearest friends Linda and Kitty and those in the local community.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Leinster St., Maynooth, on Friday from 5-7pm. Removal on Saturday at 9.30am to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Maynooth, for 10am funeral Mass, followed by burial in Laraghbryan Cemetery.

John Patrick (Sean) Slattery Snr. Clane, Kildare / Lucan, Dublin

The death has occurred of John Patrick (Sean) Slattery Snr. Clane, Kildare / Lucan, Dublin. He passed away peacefully on December 7 with family by his side, in the care of the wonderful staff at Larchfield Park Nursing Home, Naas. Dearly loved husband of Kitty. Sean will be sadly missed by his wife, children Fiona and Jon, son-in-law Steve, daughter-in-law Ciara, adored grandchildren Draoi, Josh, Maddie, Bo, Edie and Blaise, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Woods House, Clane (W91 YPX4) on Saturday evening from 4-8pm. A celebration of life will take place in Oliver Reilly's Funeral home, Woods House, Clane, on Sunday (December 11th) at 11am, followed by burial in Mainham Cemetery, Clane.

John Joseph Berns, Saggart, Dublin / Celbridge, Kildare

The death has occurred of John Joseph Berns, Saggart, Dublin / Celbridge, Kildare. He passed away peacefully on December 6 at Tallaght Hospital. Beloved husband and best friend of Jean and much loved dad to Gerard and Angela. John Joe will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving wife, son, daughter, granddaughter Pamela, great granddaughter Ava, God children Ciáran and Ashling, daughter in law Patricia, son in law Charles, brother Gerard, sisters Mary, Laura, Kathleen and Dot, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Bridget Dowling, Ballybarney, Ballitore, Kildare, R14 X402

The death has occurred of Bridget Dowling, Ballybarney, Ballitore, Kildare, R14 X402. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her devoted family. Bridget, predeceased by her loving parents Joseph and Julia, brothers Nick, Joe and Michael, and sisters Alice, Mai, Kathleen, Sheila and Teresa. She will be greatly missed by her brothers John and Frank, sisters Nancy, Rosie, Bernie and Essie, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home on Friday, 9th December, with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning by Doyle's Funeral Directors, to the Church of Ss. Mary & Laurence, Crookstown, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Elizabeth Hayden (née Meskell), Naas, Kildare

The death has occurred of Elizabeth HAYDEN (née Meskell),Naas. Formerly of Eadestown, Co. Kildare and Castleconnell, Co. Limerick, December 6th 2022 peacefully at home after a short illness surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her adoring parents Josephine and Paddy and her husband Tony. Much loved mother of Oliver, Daniel, Una, Richard and Niall and their partners Caroline, Kristine, Cormac, Michelle and Grainne. Elizabeth will be deeply missed by her 15 loving grandchildren to whom she was devoted.

Elizabeth enjoyed a very close relationship with her siblings Mary, John, Sheila, Paddy, Dan, Gerry and Eamonn and will be deeply missed by them, her brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends, especially her great friend Fiona.

Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas on Friday from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral on Saturday morning with Requiem Mass at 11am in the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Eadestown and afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium.

Elizabeth (Lily) Keenan (née Brody), Conlanstown, Rathangan, Kildare / Athenry, Galway

The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Lily) Keenan (née Brody), Conlanstown, Rathangan, Kildare / Athenry, Galway. Keenan Elizabeth (Lily) nee Brody, Conlanstown, Rathangan, Co. Kildare & late of Athenry, Co. Galway. Peacefully after a short illness at Naas General Hospital on December 6th 2022. Wife of the late Eddie.

Deeply regretted by her daughter Mary, sons Pat and Lar, her sisters Maura, Bernadette and Carmel and the late Helen, her brothers Eamonn, Frank and her late infant brothers Jimmy and Paddy.

Sadly missed by her seven beloved grandchildren, her daughters in law Olive and Ellie, her son in law Dan, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces nephews, neighbours and dear friends.

Reposing at her home on Thursday evening (Dec 8) from 5 o'clock to 8 o'clock with Rosary at 8 o'clock (Eircode R51 HK46). Funeral Mass on Friday morning (Dec 9) at 11 o'clock in the Church of The Assumption & St. Patrick, Rathangan, burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Rathangan.
