PopUpArt Newbridge has said that it is delighted to announce that, once again, their Christmas Art Fair was a huge success.

Eilis Kavanagh, local landscape Artist, founder & facilitator of the ever-popular PopUpArt Newbridge initiative, said in a statement: "Keeping it local and keeping it special, we continue to enable and  facilitated over 130 talented Kildare connected artists showcase their work since our inception in 2018 through our many “walk in exhibitions and our online digital gallery."

Eilis added that the Artists were delighted to be back in the beautifully restored Newbridge Town Hall which is where they had their very first exhibition in September 2018.

She continued: "There was a great atmosphere throughout the two day event, with an eclectic collective of 27 local Kildare connected Artists of all ages exhibiting their work and our very own Newbridge Barista 'Starters Orders' providing amazing coffee and cakes throughout, not to forget the wonderful soundtrack which kept people popping along in the aisles.

"Since inception in 2018, PopUpArt Newbridge has facilitated and enabled over 130 Local Kildare Based Artists exhibit their work with the collective which continues to grow and evolve, showcasing some of the  amazing wealth of local talented Kildare connected artists who exhibit with them."

Eilis further said that anyone who missed the 'walk in' exhibition can get a taste of some the Art that was on display (and a list of the participating artists) on the group's virtual Gallery: www.popupartnewbridge.com.

All artists can be contacted direct  on details on the site.

"I would also like to say a huge thank you to their Sponsors at Kildare County Council, Kildare County Council Arts Services and Kildare County Council Local Enterprise Office and all who supported them throughout the year," Eilis concluded.
