A suspected drugs haul was discovered in Kildare town.
That’s what Naas District Court was told on Thursday, November 24.
Gardaí said to Judge Desmond Zaidan that Ian Graham, with an address in Bishopsland, Kildare town, was accused of hiding the suspected haul at a nearby property.
It was heard that the suspected haul was discovered on November 11 last.
Garda Sergeant Brian Jacob said that the total estimated value of the suspected drugs was around €4,000.
He added that gardaí believe that the suspected drugs involved are a mix of heroin and cocaine.
As the accused was absent from court due to contracting Covid-19, Judge Desmond Zaidan remanded the 32-year-old defendant on bail until the case returns to court on May 4, 2023.
This was done in order to allow time for directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.
