WHAT IS YOUR FIRST KILDARE MEMORY?

My First Holy Communion and going to the beautiful Japanese Gardens, in Kildare’s National Stud.

I can clearly remember standing on the iconic bridge, feeling like a princess, while overlooking the stunning gardens! I distinctly remember it being a breathtaking day.

This day was such a magical day and a day I will always associate with growing up in lovely Kildare.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT KILDARE?

The local businesses, scenery, and most importantly the people, the Lilywhites!

The sense of community within the county is very special and is something we as a county should be very proud of.

From attending county games, to supporting local enterprises, Kildare locals should be applauded for their sense of community.

WHAT'S YOUR IDEAL DAY SPENT IN KILDARE?

We are really spoilt for choice! I am a big fan of supporting local

enterprises, and in Kildare, we are so lucky to have a range of local business from cafes to boutiques.

Firstly, I would have to start the day with a stroll in one of the stunning hotels located in Kildare, with a coffee, from a local coffee shop, in hand.

Then the rest of the day would include a day at the races or hitting the shops in hope to grab a bargain!

CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT YOUR WORK IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY?

This year alone, I have been extremely busy attending events, supporting charity fundraisers, along with holding food demonstrations.

Just last week I was involved in a family weekend with Keeling's to celebrate the launch of the beginning of the strawberry season.

The Keelings event was a great success raising funds for the ISPCC Childline.

Later this year, I will also be involved in the Tullamore Show, hopefully doing another

demonstration, like last year.

Another amazing event I was involved in was a Fashion Show in aid of Irish Motor Neurone Disease.

I was fortunate enough to be modeling some of the beautiful collections from local boutiques in Kildare.

I love sharing images of food and fashion on Instagram: joanne__eve_jostrendy.
