Election candicate, Emmet Stagg
The Department of Education is currently finalising the project brief with the aim of progressing the Hewetson National School project into the architectural planning process.
Kildare North Labour general election, candidate, Emmet Stagg, said was in further contact with the Minister for Education in relation to progressing the building project for Hewetson National School, Millicent, Clane, following the technical site visit by the Department last year.
A new school was included in the Department’s six year Construction programme from 2016 to 2021. Department officials have recently been in contact with the school authorities in relation to the proposed building project.
