A two hour maximum parking limit is being proposed by the council and I have asked them to go public consultation immediately to get peoples view. They hope to do this soon," said Patricia Ryan, who is running in the local elections for the party.

In response to her query, Kildare County Council said: "It is proposed to bring two hour maximum stay parking bye-laws into Monasterevin. This is a statutory public consultation. Members will be notified prior to any advertisement of this public consultation."
