Raider armed with knife robs Kildare service station

Gardai are investigating the raid

Naas gardai are investigating an armed robbery at a service station in the town, where a sum of money was taken.

Gardai have revealed that on Saturday last, October 27, at 6.45pm that evening, a  male entered the service station on the Kilcullen road in the town.

He was alone and armed with a knife. He demanded money from the attendant, which he received, before leaving the station and making off on foot in the Kilcullen direction. 

Gardai have issued a description of the man involved as  being six feet tal and of thin build.  He was wearing  a navy blue Nike hoodie, and had a white mask covering his face.  He was also wearing gloves.
