Lunchtime voter turnouts across Kildare in the Presidential Election and blasphemy referendum

Polls are open today in #Aras18

Voter turnout has been sluggish this morning in the Presidential election and blasphemy referendum.

At 12.30pm turnout in Athy was between 10% and 21%; in Kildare town 9%; Newbridge 10%; Rathangan 12%; Kilcullen 11%; Celbridge 12%; Leixlip 13% Clane 12% Maynooth up to 14%; Kill 12%, Naas up to 14% and Sallins 11%.

Polls close at 10pm tomorrow, and we will be reporting from the count centre in Punchestown tomorrow on www.leinsterleader.ie.
