KILDARE TRAFFIC UPDATE: Find out which roads to avoid due to fallen trees

AA Roadwatch are reporting a number of roads in the county which have been affected by fallen trees.

It says the N78 is blocked by a fallen tree just outside Athy on the Carlow side.

A tree is partially blocking the Enfield/Edenderry Rd (R402) between Johnstown Bridge and Kilshanroe.

The Kildare/Nurney Rd (R415) is blocked due to a fallen tree near Nurney. 

There is a tree down on the Monasterevin/Rathangan Rd (R414) at Clonmoyle.

UPDATE 12.03: 

A fallen tree is blocking the Dublin Rd (R403) outside Celbidge north of Ballyouster Park.

The N78 has reopened following the removal of a fallen tree just outside Athy on the Carlow side.

The Kildare/Nurney Rd (R415) has been cleared of fallen trees near Nurney. 

Tree down near the Orchard Garden Centre and the road is blocked – awaiting ESB Crews and Gardaí on site on present.
