It has been a sunny start to the morning in Kildare, but showers are predicted for later today, with temperatures of up to 10 degrees.
According to Met Eireann, mist and fog patches will clear slowly this morning across the country and today will have some bright or sunny spells, but scattered showers will develop, some of them turning heavy this afternoon and evening.
Tonight outbreaks of rain will develop along the east coast, spreading further inland later, with a minimum temperatures 4 to 6 degrees, in moderate east to northeast breezes.
