Progress on Clane's new Scoil Phadraig National School project

The existing Scoil Phadraig in Clane.

The project to build a new Scoil Phadraig National School in Clane is progressing with the Department of Education revealing that it will shortly go to tender.

Former Labour TD Emmet Stagg has reported that he was speaking to the Minister for Education who confirmed that the project is progressing through the stages of appointing contractors and is expected to go to tender in two or three months.

It is expected that actual construction of the new school will commence in quarter 2 of 2019. Mr Stagg pointed out that planning permission was granted for the new school on July 4th 2016, and he welcomed the progress.
