A road near Kildare town and the Curragh will close temporarily today to enable Kildare County Council workers return it to two-lane traffic after Storm Emma.
The Maddenstown Road (L-3006), between its junction with R 415 (Curragh Road) and L-7024 (Strawhall Road), will be temporarily closed today, Thursday, March 8, between 9am and 4.30pm.
The road closure is required to re-open both lanes to traffic. Motorists are advised to divert along Tully Road.
Restricted local access will be maintained
Kildare County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused to motorists.
