The new i-Mop at Kilcock Londis
Situated in North Kildare, the award winning Londis Kilcock is part of a large Topaz fuel station.
The store is also home to Subway, Smooch and Insomnia: With so much to offer in one convenient location, it is no surprise that the store caters to hundreds of customers and commuters each day.
“Although we love being busy, catering to such a large footfall is not without its challenges”. Leona Browne, explains.
“It is of the utmost importance that our floors and facilities are kept clean and safe for both customers and employees. Like any store, serving food, hot drinks and groceries, we place a huge emphasis on hygiene and safety. Just one small spillage during the lunch time rush can really upset the workflow.”
Now, with the i-Mop we can clean during the busy peak leaving the floors clean and dry behind us – it makes a huge difference.”
The first of its kind, the i-Mop is a machine that promises to change the way the world cleans. The i-Mop makes it possible to clean any surface, with freedom of movement in the most confined spaces and busy locations.
The i-Mop was introduced to the Irish market earlier this year through an Irish cleaning solutions company, Chemical Direct: who are a provider of cleaning equipment and supplies, including floor care.
Stephen Stout, Chemical Direct Sales Director, says: “We found that most floors are still being cleaned with mop and bucket, because other floor machines are just not flexible enough to work in most spaces.”
The i-mop solves the problems of floor cleaning systems by combining the flexibility of a mop with the power and speed of industrial scrubber driers, for a faster, more effective clean.
