The Leinster Leader has learned of the death of an Allenwood man at Drehid landfill yesterday. Gardai are not seeking anybody in relation to the incident.
The man, who was in his 50's, was an employee at the landfill site and is from a well known local family.
A local has described the death as a terrible tragedy.
