Rathangan homecoming

Welcome home Our Duke

Welcome home Our Duke

Irish National Champion, Our Duke arrived in Rathangan this evening to a hero's welcome.

Lead by his owner Billy Cooper and broadcaster, Tracy Piggott, the horse racing star paraded his way down the town shortly after 7pm before stopping outside Fullam's pub.

Family, friends and a good crowd of locals gathered to welcome him home. Born and bred in Kildare, Our Duke is owned by the Cooper family syndicate and trained by Jessica Harrington in Moone.
