Two HGVs meet on a narrow Eadestown road
Residents of Eadestown say they are experiencing ongoing congestion problems because of heavy goods vehicles using the road through the area.
Fianna Fail TD James Lawless says he saw the problem at first hand (see picture) when driving through the area.
Residents in the area have complained to Kildare County Council about the number of lorries using the road.
“There just isn’t enough width on the road for heavy trucks and lorries to pass,” said Dep Lawless.
A group of residents from Eadestown have asked KCC to ban lorries from the road.
