Who wouldn't love to learn more about adorable fox cubs or fluffy little baby badgers?

Well if you have an interest in young animals, you're in luck, as an upcoming talk by Kildare Wildlife Rescue (KWR) aims to teach participants all about wild baby animals.

Explaining the nature (no pun intended) of the event, KWR said: "Come and join us for a talk about baby animals at Kildare Wildlife Rescue!

"Learn about some of the Irish species we take into care during 'orphan season' and how they start their lives in the wild."

In addition, KWR said that following the talk, there will be an activity where children will have the opportunity to make a face mask "of one of Ireland's iconic species".

The event will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the KWR's Kildare town base.

It will run from 3.30pm until 5pm.

Those under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Booking via Eventbrite.
