No money for dressing rooms at this Kildare sports venue

Monread Park, Naas

New dressing rooms are needed at a public park in Naas.

Local councillor Seamie Moore wants Kildare County Council provide "suitable permanent changing rooms" at Monread Park.

He also called for storage rooms to be provided "as essential minimum upgrading facilities for use by male and female teams."

Kildare County Council said it has no objection to permanent changing and storage facilities, but this will be subject to developing a masterplan for Monread Park.

KCC also said that money will have to be found and there will have to be a sharing arrangement between the clubs using the facility.
