Gardai in Kildare urge public to take note of Storm Éowyn weather warning from 12pm - 4pm

Gardai in Kildare are advising members of the public to take note of a weather warning from 12pm – 4pm as Storm Éowyn blasts the country.

An Garda Síochána Kildare have warned all motorists to exercise “extreme caution” when taking to the road after the worst of the storm has passed – as fallen trees, power lines and debris on the road will cause dangers.

According to a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána Kildare, gardai are currently in receipt of numerous calls of trees down throughout the county.
