Kildare hurling boss, Brian Dowling, has named his side for Saturday's opening game in the Allianz Hurling League, Division 1, Round 1 game against Down in Ballycran.
Rian Boran captains the side having been named as the 2025 team captain. Jack Sheridan misses this game due to injury, a major blow to Kildare.
The team reads:
