Kildare nursing home applies for two-storey rear extension to existing nursing home

Springwood Nursing Homes (Elm Hall Nursing Home, Loughlinstown Road, Celbridge, Co Kildare) has applied to Kildare County Council for a two-storey rear extension to the existing building.

The €218k application was submitted to Kildare County Council on January 16 2025.

This will provide two additional bed spaces, with internal alterations on the existing ground and first floor to provide six additional bed spaces.

The application also includes internal alterations on the ground floor of the existing village centre building; minor alterations to the nursing home and village centre building facades; and all associated site works and landscaping.

The architect for the proposed project is Demesne Architects Limited.
