Sweet start to 2025 for Euromillions player in Kildare who matched 5 numbers

An online player from Kildare matched 5 numbers in Tuesday's EuroMillions and Plus draws to win €26,813.

The Limerick player who won €500,000 purchased their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw from Cosgraves, Singland, Dublin Road, Castletroy, Co. Limerick.  

The winning numbers were 3, 19, 20, 23 and 28.

National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer said:  

“Tuesday night’s EuroMillions draw saw over 35,000 players nationwide win prizes across the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws with the Limerick winner taking the title of biggest winner of the night.

"The Castletroy player won an incredible €500,000 on the EuroMillions Plus draw, while the online player from Kildare matched 5 numbers to win €26,813 in the main draw. We are encouraging all players who purchased their ticket on the day of the draw at Cosgraves, Dublin Road, Castletroy, Co. Limerick to carefully check their tickets today and make contact with our prize claims team”

Friday’s draw rolls to an estimated €75 million. Players dreaming of becoming Ireland’s newest EuroMillions winner are reminded that tickets for Friday’s draw can be purchased in-store, or through the National Lottery app or at http://www.lottery.ie
