David Stewart passed away at Naas Hospital surrounded by his family
Much-respected and well-known local man David Stewart has been remembered fondly following his sudden passing following a short illness.
Mr Stewart's death has deeply saddened the community across Kildare and has been met with great grief by those who knew him.
Mr Stewart passed away surrounded by his family at Naas General Hospital on Sunday 12th January.
Mr Stewart was from Loughbollard in Clane, Co. Kildare.
David's family would like to express their gratitude and thank both Hazel Hall Nursing Home, Clane, and Naas General Hospital, for their professionalism and care for David.

Mr Stewart will be deeply missed by his loving wife Myrtle, daughters Suzanne and Yvonne, sons-in-law Niall and Sean, grandchildren Katelyn, Sean Óg and Fionn, brothers Mervyn, George and Leslie, sisters Ann and Violet, extended family and friends.
The Stewart family have received many condolences across RIP.ie and social media, one person paid tribute by saying:
"Yvonne, I am sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Thinking of you and your family at this difficult time. May he Rest in Peace."
Another wrote: "So very sorry for your loss! I hope the happy memories will help get you through this sad time."
A Facebook user wrote: "So sorry Ann to read about your brother thinking of you all may David rest in peace."
Funeral arrangements:
Reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Woods House, Clane, (W91YPX4) on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm with evening prayers at 7pm.
Removal from Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home on Friday at approx. 10:30am to arrive at St. Michael and All Angels Church, Millicent for 11am Funeral Service, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
