A Christmas scene at Kilcullen Road, Naas, this week
A free service enabling the disposal of used Christmas trees is being provided by Kildare County Council - up to January 20.
It will be available at seven sites across the county so that the trees can be recycled in a sustainable way. The location for Naas is at Fairgreen.
A Naas Municipal District was told that it is becoming more difficult to secure sites for this purpose and more budgeting arrangements may be needed in the future.
