23 year-old Sophie Murphy from Kilcullen has made it through to the final of Miss Ireland 2025 and is currently seeking sponsorship to support her during the campaign. You can donate HERE.
Sophie said on her GoFundMe page, "The sponsorship package requires a €1,500 contribution, which will help to cover a variety of aspects to the competition. This includes tutorials, workshops, photoshoots and the final event, which takes place in March 2025.
"I have always appreciated the sense of community in Kilcullen and I’m hoping that this amazing community can get behind me and support my journey to Miss Ireland."
Sophie is closing in on half way to her fundraising goal and any excess contributions will be donated to The Children’s Health Foundation.
Sophie works in healthcare and is hoping to continue to be a major mental health advocate during her campaign.
She said, "Drawing from my own personal experiences with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Depersonalisation Disorder (DPD), putting efforts into better managing our minds and harvesting healthier, more positive thought processes is vital. I also believe that OCD is often misunderstood and under-discussed. Therefore, I aim hoping to raise awareness and provide support for those facing similar challenges to me."
Sophie also hopes to raise awareness and funds for charities that provide support to sick children and their families throughout her journey with Miss Ireland.
