Application for 22 new homes in Caragh, Naas, Co Kildare

€5.5m plans for Gingerstown Park, Caragh, Co Kildare

A planning application has been submitted to Kildare County Council for the construction of 22 new homes at Gingerstown Park, Caragh, Naas, Co Kildare.

According to Construction Information Services (CIS), the application for the €5.5m development, by JJMS Properties Limited, was lodged with Kildare County Council on December 20 2024.

The plans consist of a residential scheme of 16 houses on a site area of c 0.65h, including: three two-storey three-bedroom semi-detached houses; seven two-storey three-bedroom terraced houses; one two-storey four-bedroom semi-detached houses; and five three-storey four-bedroom terraced houses.

Also included is one apartment block consisting of part two-storey and part 3-storey, comprising of two one-bedroom apartments, two two-bedroom apartments and two three-bedroom apartments.

The proposed development has two pedestrian access points off the R409 and Gingerstown Park and one vehicular access point to serve the development is provided off Gingerstown Park.

The plans include all associated site works, surface car parking spaces, bin storage, bike stores, opens spaces, landscaping, boundary treatment and drainage.

The architect for the proposed development is CDP Architecture.
