A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council on 2/12/2024 by Wellbreak Unlimited Company for change of use of ground floor, Rye House, Main Street, Maynooth as a café.
Rye House is a protected structure, and the change of use is to include ancillary accommodation.
The works also include: the change of use of an existing first floor apartment to use as office; material alterations to existing layouts; refurbishment works to the existing roof, elevations & shopfront; a new retractable awning on the front elevation; and a new painted signage on the existing timber shopfront.
The architect for the proposed project is Number 10 Design.
