Kildare North TD Reada Cronin
Sinn Féin TD for Réada Cronin has thanked voters for putting their trust in her and re-electing her to the Dáil.
Signing the register in the Oireachtas, officially taking her seat as the returning Sinn Féin TD for North Kildare, she said: “I’m honoured to be re-elected. We worked non-stop for our constituents throughout the campaign, on many critical cases, and that work continues now after the election.
“I know that many people are deeply disappointed but I can assure them I will be the voice of ordinary workers, our carers and their families in the Dáil.”
She added: “On Wednesday, Sinn Féin’s team of TDs met in Leinster House, along with the leadership team President Mary Lou McDonald TD and Vice President First Minister Michelle O’Neill MLA, where we discussed our plans to deliver the change that people in North Kildare need.
“I know that people are really struggling and they desperately need and want change in their lives. They want a government of change that will deliver on housing, health, childcare and the cost of living. They want a government for the future, that will make Ireland a better place to live and raise a family.
“I will continue to be a strong voice for North Kildare standing up for people on the issues that matter to them.”
