Kildare Co Council considering plans for seven new homes in Athy

Seven new homes are being planned for a Halting Site in Athy.

A planning application for Ardrew Halting Site off the Fortbarrington Road was submitted to Kildare County Council 

Being proposed is the demolition of the temporary caretaker unit in Ardrew Halting Site and the construction of a new caretaker unit.

The plans include the refurbishment of four semi-detached Day Houses into two detached Day Houses.

The proposals feature the provision of five new-build detached Group Houses comprising of four five-bedroom, two-storey Group Houses and one three-bedroom, 2-storey Group House.


Other works specified in the planning documents include paving, landscaping, an access road and drainage.
