A number of items have been reported stolen following a burglary at a residence located in Straffan.
Garda Brian Carroll told KFM about the incident when he appeared as a guest on Wednesday, October 9 last.
He explained that a TV and a laptop were among the items taken from the residence in the Baybush area of Straffan.
Gda Carroll further said that on October 4 last, at around 4.30am, the injured party woke up to find a number of items stolen.
He added: "CCTV footage [of the incident] has been viewed, in which Black Mini Cooper can be seen and two males can also be seen getting out of the car."
Gda Carroll concluded by urging anyone with information to contact Clane Garda Station on 045 868 262.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about the incident, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: "Gardaí are investigating a burglary at a residence in Straffan, County Kildare that occurred in the early hours of Friday, October 4, 2024.
"A number of items were reported as stolen."
They added: "Investigations are ongoing."
