Gardaí at Blessington Garda Station are investigating an Aggravated Burglary incident just outside Blessington.
On the Wednesday 14th August 2024 at approximately 11.30pm, three suspects approached a private house and attempted to gain access to the vehicles at the property.
One of the males who was carrying what appeared to be a firearm, gained access to the property and left with keys of two vehicles.
The suspects then drove these vehicles in convoy, exiting the property, driving through Blessington village Main Street, and continuing on the N81 in the Dublin direction.
One of the vehicles, a dark grey Vauxhall Insignia, was recovered the following day, and had been fitted with registration plates from a similar vehicle in a nearby Tallaght area.
The light grey Ford Transit vehicle was found the day after. The side door of this vehicle had been removed. A number of tools had been removed along with two boxed Velux windows.
