An Garda Síochána (AGS) is seeking information relating to a theft incident which took place at a County Kildare supermarket.
According to Garda Mark Connolly, who discussed the incident when he appeared on KFM yesterday, the suspect is a woman who is described 'as being around 5 foot 6 inches in height with blonde hair.'
He added that she was described as wearing 'a pair of blue Adidas shoes and a white tracksuit top.'
Gda Connolly went on to explain that the woman stole alcohol from the SuperValu supermarket located in Newbridge on Thursday, September 5 last, and that she was seen walking away in the direction of the Lidl supermarket.
He concluded by urging anyone with information to contact Newbridge Garda Station on 045 440 180.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about the incident, a spokesperson for AGS replied:
Gardaí received report of an incident of theft that occurred at a retail premises in Newbridge, Co. Kildare at approximately 3:30pm on September 5, 2024.
Investigations are ongoing at this time.
