A Kildare county councillor has asked Kildare County Council (KCC) to replace a community cabin.
Fine Gael Cllr Brendan Wyse submitted the motion calling for the replacement at the latest Clane-Maynooth Municipal District meeting, which was held on Friday, September 6 last.
His motion read as folows: "That the council provides a replacement community cabin in Ashgrove, Derrinturn, as a matter of urgency."
In response, KCC told Cllr Wyse: "The Community Department is progressing the replacement of the community cabin Ashgrove in Derrinturn and expects this to be installed in the coming months."
