South Kildare Photography Club is set to host an Open Night event in Newbridge.
The group made the announcement on its official Facebook page.
The announcement reads as follows: "If you've ever thought about joining a photography club or even if you fancy taking on a new hobby, this is your chance to come down and find out what we're all about.
"This event is open to everyone (18+) in all stages of their photography journey, from complete beginners to the pro."
South Kildare Photography Club continued: "During the night we'll have presentations from club members and a chat about the club in general (what we do from week to week).
"There'll be tea, coffee and a few cheeky cakes and biscuits for everyone to enjoy.
"If you want to bring someone along with you who might also be interested then tag them and share away.
"If you have any questions before hand don't be afraid to drop us a line and we will be happy to help.
"Don't forget, if you have something that takes a photo and you enjoy taking them then come along."
"Hope to see you there," the group concluded.
South Kildare Photography Club's open night will be held on Thursday, September 12 at at 8pm in Ryston Sports and Social Club (Upstairs).
