A video posted to YouTube celebrates the life of the late Doctor Brian Kelly, who originally hailed from Newbridge.

GU Cast posted the video in remembrance of the late Doctor, who passed away on August 9 last in Australia.

The description of the video notes: "Today we dedicate our podcast to the memory of our colleague, Dr Brian Kelly (40), who passed away unexpectedly this week.

"We are devastated to lose Brian, who was a Consultant Urologist at Peter Mac and Eastern Health here in Melbourne, and one of our closest friends in the world.

"Here we replay the Memorial Session which we conducted at Peter Mac this week.

"It features some great memories of Brian from contributors across the world; all of us shocked to lose one of the most special people in our urological community.

"Our heartfelt condolences to Brian's mother Margaret, siblings Finnian, Sean and Ruth, and his son Tadhg.

"Vale Brian we will miss you always x."

Suddenly in Australia.

Predeceased by his loving father Brendan.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken mother Margaret, his son Tadhg and his mother Veronica, brothers Finnian and Sean, sister Ruth and her partner Anthony, sisters-in-law Amanda and Rachael, nieces, nephew, extended family, relatives & friends. 

May Brian Rest In Peace.

Brian’s Funeral Service and cremation has taken place in Australia.

His Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday morning, August 28 at 10am in Cill Mhuire, Ballymany, Newbridge.

Brian’s Funeral will be livestreamed on https://www.newbridgeparish.ie/cill-mhuire-church.
