UPDATE- 12.12pm- According to KFM, the incident involves an overturned teleporter.
Gardaí are attending the scene of 'an incident' in Caragh at present.
According to the official An Garda Síochána Facebook page: "We are currently at the scene of an incident at Victoria Bridge, Thomastown, Caragh.
"This road is currently closed."
The page added: "Please avoid this area and use alternate routes."
