Fast food giant McDonald's has revealed the official re-opening date of its Newbridge restaurant.

The busy branch was previously damaged by a fire which broke out on August 15, 2023.

Now, a spokesperson for McDonald's has informed the Leinster Leader when exactly the store will re-open.

The spokesperson said: "McDonald’s Ireland has today confirmed the reopening of its Newbridge, County Kildare restaurant following a major fire at the site last August."

"Having undergone an extensive reconstruction programme, the restaurant will welcome customers through its doors and drive-thru once again from 11am on Wednesday, September 4, 2024," they added.
