Tributes paid following sad passing of Kildare woman who was a 'beautiful spark of light'

Marian Tuboly (née Barr) passed away on Friday

Tributes have poured in following the sad passing of Marian Tuboly (née Barr), late of Weston, Newbridge, Kildare.

Marian passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 16, and is pre-deceased by her brother Kieran and sister Helena.

She will be sadly missed by her loving brothers James and Don, sisters Kate, Phil and Josie, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Heartfelt condolences have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and fondly remembered Marian, with one mourner writing,

"Marian, you were a beautiful spark of light within the group gathering every week in Ryston’s social club supporting people healing from cancer and emotional pain. Rest in peace special girl."

Another wrote,

"So sorry to hear of Marian's passing. We got to know Marian over 10 yrs ago who was so talented in Art and all her craftwork. Great memories of chats and cups of tea together in her beautiful home. Thank you for your friendship, fun and love of life. May you rest in Peace."

While another wrote,

"Sincere condolences to Marian's family and friends. She was a special, kind person and a valued friend and neighbour to me here at Weston."

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at Glennons Funeral Home, 32 Main Street, Newbridge on Wednesday from 5pm concluding with rosary at 7pm.

Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at Cill Mhuire Church, Newbridge, for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Cremation afterwards in Newlands Cross Crematorium at 1pm. Marian's funeral mass and cremation service will be live-streamed on the following links:
