Gardaí have announced a temporary road closure between Junction 4 of the M9 and Castledermot town.
The official Garda Traffic account on X / Twitter explained: "Gardaí and emergency services are currently attending a road traffic collision that occurred on the R448 road, between Junction 4 of the M9 and Castledermot town in County Kildare."
"This section of the road has been closed with delays expected if travelling in the area," the account added.
