24-year-old Catherine Cunningham is this year's Kildare Rose
Kildare Rose, Catherine Cunningham is 16/1 to win the Rose of Tralee according to the bookmakers.
Today, online betting and gaming company, Betway revealed Kerry’s Emer Dineen and Derry’s Darcy Taylor as the joint favourites to win this year’s competition. Presenters Dáithí Ó’Sé and Kathryn Thomas are once again returning next week to welcome the Roses on stage at the Rose of Tralee Dome at MTU’s Kerry Sports Academy.
A total of 32 Roses will represent the Irish diaspora from various Rose Centres across many different countries, but it’s Kerry’s Emer Diner and Derry’s Darcy Taylor that the bookmakers have at the head of the pack as joint favourites, both with odds of 5/2 to take home the crown.
Ladbrokes also have the Rathangan native at 16/1, while Paddy Power is offering odds of 20/1 on Catherine taking the crown.
