Four new homes are being planned for Rathangan in a project with an estimated construction value of €1.4m.
A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council seeking approval for the removal of existing domestic sheds / storage buildings from the site at Mullantine, Rathangan.
Being planned is the construction of four 4-bedroom dormer style dwellings, according to the Construction Information Services database.
Also in the designs is a new roadway and vehicle access onto public road.
Also planned is the removal of the existing single-storey extensions to the side and rear of the existing cottage and the construction of a new single-storey extension to the sides and rear of the property.
This extension will consist of a new kitchen / dining/ living area, two bedrooms and bathrooms and a connecting corridor.
The existing vehicle entrance to the public road will be removed and a new vehicle access via proposed new estate roadway will be provided.
