Driver issued FCPN by gardaí at Donadea, County Kildare road checkpoint

A motorist was issued a Fixed Charge Penalty Notice (FCPN) by Kildare gardaí at a road checkpoint in Donadea.

The official Garda Traffic account on X / Twitter explained the situation: "Naas gardaí were carrying out a checkpoint in Donadea recently when they stopped this driver.

"It was found that the driver had no licence and that they had two front tyres that were in very poor condition."

The account added: "The driver was issued a FCPN and now faces a day in court."
