Kildare Gardaí said a motorist tried to avoid a checkpoint in the Curragh.
Gardaí approached the driver and discovered the vehicle had no insurance, road tax or NCT.
The vehicle was seized and the motorist will appear in court charged with motor traffic offences.
Elsewhere, at Jigginstown, Naas gardaí stopped a car which was displaying an in-date Insurance Disc which referred to previous owner.
Therefore, the driver was not insured.
Meanwhile, on the M7 a number of mobile phone offences were detected.
In another incident, gardaí on duty in Castledermot detected a vehicle being driven with no insurance and the driver failed a roadside drugs test for Cannabis.
The driver was arrested and court proceedings will follow.
