The demolition of an existing office block located in Naas has been proposed, planning permission documents lodged with Kildare County Council (KCC) have shown.

Applicant RFL Steels Limited is seeking permission from KCC for the demolition of the office block, which is situated in Kingsfurze, Naas Industrial Estate in Naas.

In its place, the company wishes to construct two-storey office block, along with new wastewater treatment system & soakaways, a bicycle shed, carparking, boundary treatments, signage.

Permission is also being sought for all ancillary site works.

The date received is listed as June 27 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as July 31 and August 21 respectively.

According to ConstructionIreland.ie, RFL Steels Limited began trading in 1987.

The business specialises in supplying customers in the construction, industrial, engineering and agricultural sectors with steel.

It has an address listed as Kingsfurze, Naas Industrial Estate in Naas.
