Gardaí in County Kildare area appealing for information following a three-on-one assault incident which occurred in Leixlip.
The incident was hughlighted by Garda Jonathan Ryan when he appeared on KFM yesterday.
Gda Ryan said that the man was assaulted by three other males, who were unknown to him, at the Court Yard Hotel on the evening of Sunday, June 23 last.
He added that the assault appeared to be an 'unprovoked attack.'
Gda Ryan concluded by urging anyone with information on the incident to contact Leixlip Garda Station on 01 666 7800.
When asked for comment about the situation, a garda spokesperson told the Leinster Leader: "Gardaí are aware of an assault that occurred on Sunday, June 23, 2024 where a man in his 20s suffered non-life threatening injuries.
"No arrests have been made been made at this time."
The spokesperson concluded: "Investigations are ongoing."
