KILDARE NOTICE: Eight areas in Athy MD selected for surface dressing works

Multiple areas in the Athy Municipal District have been selected by Kildare County Council (KCC) for surface dressing works.

KCC has said that it gives notice that surface dressing road works will take place at the following locations, subject to weather:

• R448 – Timolin to Crookstown
• R417 – Farmhill to Grangemellon
• R415 – Nurney to Clarey
• L8008 – Calverstown / Narraghmore
• L8062 – Goulyduff
• L4006 – Woodstock North Kilcrow
• L4006 – Goulyduff to County Boundary
• L8031 – Cardington

KCC further said: "As these works are weather dependent times and locations may alter.

"From Monday, July 1, to Friday, July 12, inclusive between the hours of 7am and 7pm. 

"Traffic management systems will be in place to facilitate the maintenance works.

KCC continued: "Delays are to be expected.

"Your cooperation is appreciated."

"Any inconvenience caused is regretted," KCC concluded.
