RIP to the late Basil Dunne and Sheila O'Neill (née Rowe).

The death has occurred of Basil Dunne

Leixlip, Kildare.

May 13, 2024 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.

Beloved husband of Frances and much loved father of Caroline, Fiona, Deborah and the late Samantha and James.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Matt and John, sisters Marie, Kathleen and Junie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his home on Thursday evening (May 16) between 5pm and 7 pm.

Removal on Friday morning (May 17) to The Church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 am followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Sheila O'Neill (née Rowe)

Fontstown, Athy, Kildare / The Curragh, Kildare.

Sheila died peacefully at home surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.

Predeceased by her parents John and Sarah Rowe, sisters May and Rita and her granddaughter Gillian.

She will be sadly, missed by her devoted husband Jimmy, son Niall, daughters Elaine and Vivienne, grandchildren Lauren, Cian, Aaron, Shauna, Darragh, Zarah, Kai and Charlie, great-grandchild Eabha, daughter-in-law Roberta, sons-in-law Joe and James, sisters Vivi and Patsy, brother John, extended family and friends. 

Sheila will repose at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mount Hawkins, Athy (R14 NX80) on Wednesday, May 15 2024, from 5pm until the conclusion of prayers at 7pm.

Arriving at St Ita’s Church, Kilmead, County Kildare for Requiem Mass at 11am on Thursday, May 16, 2024, burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
