Family 'deeply concerned' as renewed appeal issued for woman last seen in Laois

Manuela Afrasinei was last seen in Portarlington

A renewed appeal has been launched for a woman who is missing from Portarlington.

Gardaí in Portlaoise have renewed their appeal to the public for assistance in locating Manuela Afrasinei, 39, who was reported missing on Friday, April 26, 2024.

Manuela, who works in Tallaght Hospital in Dublin, was last seen leaving her home in Portarlington. She was driving a white Ford Kuga with registration 171 KE when last seen shortly after 6am on Friday morning. 

She is described as being 5’ 6” tall, with long blonde hair and green eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing dark red pants, a black and white top, and a long chequered black and white coat.

Her family is deeply concerned for her safety and wellbeing, and they are anxious to establish contact with her.
