Celbridge woman Claire Glynn
Celbridge early learning entrepreneur Claire Glynn has earned Business All-Star Accreditation as well as the title of All-Star Irish Early Learning Entrepreneur 2024. Claire is the founder of Clever Little Handies, a baby sign language class for parents with babies from newborn up.
Claire and her team use Irish sign language signs to help parents and their babies connect with each other through nursery rhymes, songs and poems. By teaching babies sign language from an early age they will have a vocabulary to use, even if they’re not formulating words.
Clever Little Handies Owner, Claire Glynn said, “I am so proud to accept my first Business All-Star Accreditation for Clever Little Handies and the title of Business All-Star Irish Early Learning Entrepreneur 2024 from the All-Ireland Business Foundation. It is a huge honour to be surrounded by so many inspiring people and a bigger honour still to serve my fantastic clients. I'm delighted to be part of the AIBF TRIBE and very proud to display the AIBF Marque as a powerful symbol of trust and quality.”
Babies have the dexterity in their hands to formulate signs long before they have the muscle dexterity in their mouths to form words.
Announcing the news of Claire’s achievement, Deputy Chair of AIBF’s Adjudication Board, Kieran Ring said, “I am delighted to recognise Claire Glynn's outstanding performance during her audit for Business All-Star accreditation. The result of the audit saw Claire being honoured with Business All-Star Irish Early Learning Entrepreneur 2024 in recognition of Clever Little Handies' exceptional commitment to fostering creativity, development, and a love of learning in young children through engaging parent and baby classes and innovative children's books. Through these initiatives, Claire has not only created a nurturing environment for children to thrive but has also empowered parents to actively participate in their child's early education journey.”
Claire’s exceptional commitment to fostering creativity, development, and a love of learning in young children has been recognised with the prestigious accreditation.
Managing Director of the All-Ireland Business Foundation, Kapil Khanna said: The accreditation, which is now held by over 650 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards but have nothing to measure them by.
“We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics.”
